FRIDAY MAY 13, 2005

9:15 AM - WOW, FRIDAY THE 13TH. BETTER LOOK OUT. WE THANK THE LORD FOR THE
RAIN WE HAVE GOTTEN SO FAR. IT WAS NEEDED. THIS COLD OF MINE WILL
NOT LEAVE AND MY WIFE WON'T LET ME KISS HER SO I HAVE TO GO TO THE
DOCTOR TODAY AND GET SOMETHING ELSE TO KNOCK IT. THE OVER THE COUNTER
STUFF JUST WON'T TO THE TRICK. NEED THE DRUGS I GUESS. I WAS THINKING
THE OTHR DAY ABOUT THE PLANS FOR STARTING UP A NEW CHURCH. GAIL AND I
WERE TALKING ABOUT IT AT THE DINNER TABLE AND WE REALLY THINK ITS A
GOOD IDEA. WE LOOK BACK AT OTHER CHURCHS AND OUR DAUGHTERS CHURCH IN
KALZMAZOO, MI STARTED ONE LAST YEAR. THE ENROLLMENT IN HER CHURCH
MEMBERSHIP IS AROUND 350 MEMBERS. SO IF THIS LITTLE CHURCH CAN DO IT
WHY NOT CALVARY MEMORIAL. ITS SOMETHING THAT WE ALL NEED TO PARY ABOUT.

9:20 AM--- BOB/JUDY LEWIS AND CLARK EXPEDITION TRIP MAY 11, 2005

BOB SAID HE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SEND E-MAILS TO ME EACH DAY
FOR THEY ARE GOING TO MOTELS THAT MIGHT NOT HAVE INTERNET.

IT DIDN'T SNOW BUT THE DAY BEGAN AT 25 DEGREES. WARMED UP TO 45 DEGREES.
IS IT SUMMER. WE DROVE 400 MILES ACROSS MONTANA TO GREAT FALLS.
STOPPED AT THE TOWN OF FORT BENTON ON THE MISSOURI RIVER TO WALK THE
HISTORIC MAIN STREET AND VIEW THE RIVERFRONT. THIS WAS THE TERMINUS
FOR THE STEAMBOATS FROM ST. LOUIS IN THE 1850'S AND 60'S. AS MANY AS
TEN A DAY MADE THE SIXTY DAY TRIP. LEWIS AND CLARK CAMPED HERE IN 1805
BEFORE PORTAGING THE GREATING FALL OF THE MISSOURI. IT TOOK 18 DAYS OF
WALKING CARRYING ALL THE EQUIPMENT. WE DROVE TO THE FALLS, ONE HUNDRED
FEET HIGH, NOW DAMMED UP FOR THE ELECTRICAL POWER. MOST WATER WAS
FUNNING THROUGH THE GENERATORS AT THE SIDE BUT SOME WAS SPILLING OVER
THE FALLS. STILL A BEAUTIFUL STEEP WALLED CANYON.

9:30 AM - SHOUT OUT TO THE STAFF AND WORKERS AT CALVARY MEMORIAL CHURCH. MARK AND
SANDY ACELL. MARK EDWARDS AND FAMILY.
